Probation rapped by watchdog

Of 24 probation units reviewed, 14 were rated “inadequate” while it said 10 “required improvement”.
The 2024 report by HM Inspectorate of Probation noted in many cases of domestic abuse and child safeguarding concern there was “limited monitoring”.
