AS THE NAME suggests, the Racer arrives with a speed focus, including a close-fitting 'pro' feel and taut sleeves that extend to the elbow. Four rear pockets, including a zipped one large enough for a phone, aid mid-ride usability and snack storage, while the underarm ventilation panels and zipper guard are welcome too. The 22% elastane helps with flexibility, but the slimline cut comes at the cost of aesthetics, with my upper-body hair clearly visible (so I'd go for the navy blue option and lose visibility points).
