This modern all-round carbon wheelset is the brand’s least-expensive offering. It’s designed primarily for the road, but with one eye on light gravel use. A 21mm internal rim width is designed to support tyres up to 57mm wide, say the brand, although it recommends 700 x 26-30c rubber for best overall performance. Its 45mm-deep rims were chosen to offer a blend of aerodynamic efficiency and stability in crosswinds, while vibration damping and absorption are touted as their main strengths. The hubs spin on sealed SKF steel bearings (which can be upgraded to ceramic bearings), and these wheels have the speediest pick-up on test. They are also the second-heaviest though.
