Canadian brand Argon 18 have brought some serious innovations to road bike design over the years. With the brand’s clever 3D Fit system, integrated cable routing and a carbon fibre construction system to minimise weight and maximise performance, the Equation packs a lot of punch for £2,500. 01 Forward thinking To adjust a bike’s handlebar height, you’d typically rearrange the spacers above or below the stem. Instead, Argon 18 use a system of head tube-extending pieces, with the upper headset bearing also changing position depending on the piece used. The brand claim that this 3D Fit system maintains the optimal stiffness of the head tube.
