Reach
● This is the horizontal distance from the centre of the bottom bracket (BB) to the centre-top of the head tube. Assuming the seat tube angle remains the same, a longer reach lowers your ride position, a shorter reach means you sit more upright.
Stack
● The vertical distance from the centre-top of the head tube to the centre of the BB. A taller stack means a more upright ride position; a shorter stack means a lower one.
Power meter
● A device that measures the power delivered by the rider. Most use strain gauges to measure applied torque and, when combined with angular speed, calculate power (in watts). Power meters generally transmit wireless data and can be paired with most GPS bike computers.
