WELCOME… By the time you read this, we’ll have held our Rider of the Year awards ceremony and crowned our winners. It’s always an amazing opportunity to meet the people we’ve been following through the nominations and voting process, sometimes for the first time in person, and to see what it means to them to be recognised by you, our readers, and by our in-house team. Last year there was nary a dry eye in the house, and I’m anticipating the same this time around. What a trio of winners we have, with very different stories to tell – a great reminder of the strength in diversity of our sport, and the difference it can make to people’s lives.
