Moon’s Rigel Max may be compact but it still offers good illumination and run times. There are two constant modes, and toggling between them allows you to lower illumination so you don’t dazzle on-coming traffic. While small for its output, it still manages a claimed run time of 1:30hrs on its 1,500-lumen peak output. It’s well built, with an all-metal casing, a single control button on its top and a rear USB-C port. The lens, behind which are two LEDs, is divided into an upper part with horizontal ridges and a plain lower part, and there are side illumination ports.
