As this summer comes to a close, two important sporting events are taking place. The Paralympics started at the end of August, and the America’s Cup is hard on its heels. It is the oldest international competition still in operation today across all sports. Competing races begin in September to decide which of the five yachting teams will be the final challenger against the last Cup holder. That’s the Emirates Team New Zealand, which has been defending champs for seven years (two races). There are plenty of sponsors for each team, many of which are luxury watchmakers.
