Longines’ popular multi-time-zone pilots’ watch now comes in a more wrist-friendly size

Celebrating, well, the spirit of pioneering aviators, such as Charles Lindbergh, Amelia Earhart, and Elinor Smith, who’ve relied on Longines instruments for their exploits, the Spirit Zulu Time was well received by watch lovers when it was launched last year. However, as much as the community lauded the watch for combining vintage-inspired aesthetics with modern features, the one recurring niggle was its 42mm case, which some find a tad overwhelming. And the Saint-Imier brand seems to have taken the feedback to heart by duly unveiling the multiple-time-zone pilot watch in a more wrist-friendly size. With a 39mm stainless steel case, the new Spirit Zulu Time measures 21mm from lug to lug and has a thickness of 13.5mm.
