Bespoke watchmaking has always been a niche in boutique or haute horlogerie watchmaking. Due to the effort and skill needed to produce a unique watch, only a handful of maisons really put in the resources to develop this business. There are a few rare exceptions, such as ochs und junior, that have had success in offering limited customisations for particular models. Norqain is hoping to add a bit of disruption to this segment with the Wild ONE of 1. Working with Swiss agency UDIMU, it has created a digital configurator tool that will be available through its website or partners, where customers can make their own Wild ONE out of a possible 3.5 million configurations.
