Reworking the classics, Frederique Constant comes up with big winners for dress watch lovers.

The dust appears to have settled on Frederique Constant’s reworking of the Highlife and Slimline collections. With that sorted, the watchmaker is giving the classic line a snazzy refresh. By keeping the thickness of the lugs and bezel close, it brings out the case’s well-balanced proportions. Slimmed-down faceted hour indexes look as if they radiate from the centre of the dial, thus drawing attention to the polished case finishing and minimalist sunburst dials. With two new manufacture movements that incorporate a moonphase-with-date and an analogue date, the watchmaker has brought out three references in different dial executions for each model. The Classic Date Manufacture houses the FC-706, while the Classic Moonphase Date Manufacture is equipped with the FC-716.
