Bremont rebrands with new collections designed to grow its potential audience.

The last few years have been complicated for Bremont. The young British watchmaker, seeking to re-establish UK watchmaking, invested large sums into its manufacture right as the pandemic hit. Nick and Giles English thus sought new partners to invest in the brand. Along came activist investor Bill Ackman of Hellcat, who decided to top up its coffers by US$59 million. The revenge spending consumer trend has also led to it breaking even for the first time since 2015. And with Davide Cerrato (previously of Tudor, Montblanc, and HYT) at the helm, it’s expanding its tool watch audience through the themes of Land and Sea.
