FRANCK MULLER DEBUTS A WORLD PREMIERE IN A NEW LONG ISLAND CASE

The new Long Island makes a big leap with a triple-jumping display.

In Geneva one evening prior to the opening of Watches and Wonders Geneva, Franck Muller Southeast Asia invited several collectors and industry leaders to its Grand Malagny estate to witness its latest world premiere. At the grand location, the watchmaker presented a dynamic new Long Island Evolution design, along with three different time-only or time-and-date references in wildly different styles. The most significant of these is the Master Jumper, a new triple-jumping complication that is statement-making (and a record in watchmaking as well). Although triple jumpers do exist in perpetual calendars, these are calendar-only instantaneous triple jumpers that coincide just once a month in their jumps.
