Rolex, Patek Philippe, Chanel, Chopard and Tudor to leave Baselworld

An all-new watch trade show will be held in Geneva in early-April 2021, comprising Rolex, Patek Philippe, Chanel, Chopard and Tudor, which have all decided to withdraw from the Baselworld watch fair. The departure of the aforementioned five brands marks an even more devastating turn of events for the beleaguered Baselworld watch fair. In the wake of the high-profile departures, Baselworld organisers have decided to cancel the 2021 edition of the fair. “We have taken part in Baselworld since 1939. Unfortunately, given the way the event has evolved and the recent decisions made by (Baselworld organisers) MCH Group, and in spite of the great attachment we had to this watch show, we have decided to withdraw.
