When Tissot’s Powermatic 80 PRX 40MM in Carbon was released in September, there was a mix of comments. Some expected the development since the Sideral watch had emerged last year in the same material. Others perceived it as catching up with competitor brands that already offered this material. At any rate, most concurred that the Swatch Group’s ability to produce a multipart carbon case that was machined, as well as the forged carbon PRX, bode well for the other accessible watch brands of the group.
