Icom Gives Birth to IC-7300 Icom’s latest entry into the HF transceiver market was introduced at the Tokyo Hamfair and features a bevy of options that usually come in larger radios. The first thing people will notice on the IC-7300 is the large color TFT display that can be used as a touch screen to control the radio. This interface can easily set various functions and memory contents. However, the big addition is the high-resolution, real-time spectrum scope that comes loaded onto the IC-7300. It features a waterfall function that provides top-level performance in resolution, sweep speed, and dynamic range.
