My name is Pia (DL7PIA). I am 16 years old, having passed my Class A amateur radio license in July 2019, at the age of 12 years old. From the very first moment, I was fascinated and enchanted by amateur radio’s exciting way of communications and the wide range of possibilities it offers (e.g., portable operations, different modes, building your own antennas, contests, etc.). Just a few months before the CQ WW CW Contest I decided to learn the Morse code, and immediately fell in love with CW from the very first moment.
