Well, what are you going to do? Do you have a plan? Have you practiced the plan? Maybe we need to look at this question of “what are ya gonna do when the lights go out,“ as an issue that might need some looking into. It is not a question of “if,“ it’s a question of “when,“ and you need a plan. For emergency power sources, you have a range of possibilities. There is, of course, the old standby, batteries. Then there’s the possibility of a generator. With advances in technology, solar is an attractive alternative source. Even better if you combine some of these sources into a complimentary system.
