The Wonderful World of Surplus - Revisited

I am lucky to live near the world famous “TRW Swap Meet” – it’s something I have visited since my teenage years. The location is actually the Northrop-Grumman campus in Redondo Beach, California, but most folks around the world know it by the original name, TRW. More formally, it is called the W6TRW Amateur Radio Club Swap Meet. See . Since COVID restrictions have been lifted, I started going back to this event, seeing old friends and buying useful or interesting things. As I have said many times regarding surplus materiel, I almost never buy something for what it is, but rather for what it can become.
