It’s not often that a holiday property can provide its guests with access to both lush farmland and unspoilt coastline, but Longmeadow Estate on Victoria’s Shipwreck Coast is something of a unicorn in that regard. Owned by local Tyrendarra dairy farmer Bruce Knowles and managed by two of his daughters, Sophie and Katie, the sprawling seven-bedroom property sits on 10 acres of landscaped gardens and windswept fields, with a private track that leads to a secluded beach. The family took ownership of Longmeadow in 2016, inheriting much of its existing fixtures and furnishings in the process.
