The mood of the moment: STRETCHING OUT THE SUMMER

I’m still enjoying fresh early-mornings on the patio with a coffee and the cat (we listen to the birdsong together) and evenings sipping rosé while watching the bats swoop. I intend to keep my shoes open-toed until it’s too frosty to bear, squeezing out the last drops of slow summer living until I’m ready to embrace the change of seasons and the sudden slide into (whisper it!) Christmas. On that note, those of you who love to plan ahead might like to know that the fourth Country Homes & Interiors Christmas fair will be taking place at Stonor Park, Oxfordshire, from 21-24 November.
