COUP DE SOLEIL Après ses études d'art à la Kunsthochschule Kassel en Allemagne, Lukas Meir postule à l'école de la Villa Arson et y passe trois ans. «Cette expérience a été très libératrice. J'étais face à des regards nouveaux d'artistes de toutes les disciplines. Précédemment, je n'étais entouré que de peintres. J'ai commencé la céramique. Dans l'exposition, il y aura des bas-reliefs. Puis il y a la lumière. Ce lieu est magique. Je rêve d'un atelier à Nice.» Il s'inspire des corps rougissant sur le sable, s'interrogeant sur «cet étrange rituel profane des vacances à l'ère du capitalisme tardif». Il peint les coups de soleil, comme dernier sacrifice au diktat sociétal, souvent recouverts d'une couche de crème blanche, «une extrême-onction SPF50 mais quand il est déjà trop tard».
