PIERRES À L’ÉDIFICE ARTISTIQUE Peintre et sculpteur, Lorenzo Brinati, né en 1979 à Pistoia, est un jeune artiste italien à multiples facettes. À 14 ans, il façonnait, sculptait déjà des pierres trouvées dans la rue pour en faire des visages, en référence à ceux de Modigliani. Attentif à la nature, sensible à l'harmonie, l'artiste a conçu il y a peu « Momento », avec la Cadogan Gallery de Milan, à l'occasion de l'inauguration de leur nouvel espace d'exposition durant la Milan Design Week. Cette oeuvre permanente en granit en provenance de l’île d'Elbe présente un double monolithe en équilibre apparemment précaire. Comme l'illustre l'ensemble de ses travaux, l'artiste a pour habitude de défier la loi de la gravité. La pierre devient sculpture, et adopte une force dynamique, en même temps…
