SENSATION NIPPONE Pâtisserie ancestrale, le mochi ou daifuku est au coeur des célébrations religieuses japonaises. Cette boule de pâte de riz soyeuse, fourrée d'une crème fruitée, a changé la vie de Mathilde et Joris. Tombés amoureux du Japon lors d'un séjour en 2013, ils découvrent l'art du mochi et s'initient à sa confection traditionnelle. De retour en France, le couple décide de le faire découvrir au plus grand nombre. Ainsi naît l'Atelier du Mochi, première boutique aixoise dédiée au petit gâteau nippon. Nacrés comme des coquillages, les mochis et leurs versions glacées sont fabriqués tous les jours sur place par Mathilde, avec des ingrédients 100 % d'origine végétale.
