SA PRATIQUE ARTISTIQUE SE CONCENTRE, EN DUO AVEC KATARZYNA KOT, DEPUIS 2023, SUR LES « GRANDS VIVANTS »: LES FORÊTS PRIMAIRES, LES GLACIERS, LES FLEUVES, SANS OMETTRE LES ALPILLES QUI, DIT-IL, ONT TRANSFORMÉ SON ART.

FIAT LUX «J'ai ancré l'espérance, aux racines de la vie. Face aux ténèbres, j'ai dressé des clartés, planté des flambeaux, à la lisière des nuits.» Sephane Guiran cite la poétesse Andrée Chedid car son travail fait beaucoup appel à la lumière. «Nous vivons une période de nuit. La fin d'un monde. Pas du monde.» Il nomme son projet sur le glacier Vatnajökull en Islande La Nuit est une page blanche. «Lors du solstice d'hiver, dans une de ses failles, nous avons fait une offrande de lumière.» Avec Katarzyna Kot, ils captent cette installation éphémère en vidéo, en photographies, dans un livre, la donnent à voir dans une exposition à la Galerie Pierre-Alain Charlier, à Paris, ou encore, pour la prochaine, dans la forêt primaire Bialowieza en Pologne, l'expérience sera partagée…
