L’EXPO Chaque année, le temps d’un été, l’Ancien Évêché de Toulon, accueille la Design Parade et sa ronde de talents issus du monde de la création contemporaine et du design. Pour l’édition 2024, l’espace architectural de la cour carrée, lieu d’exposition et de méditation au cœur de la ville, a été confié à l’imagination de Maximilien Pellet. Il envisage ce projet comme un terrain d’expérimentation en matérialisant l’idée d’une enveloppe de peinture construite à la manière d’un damier, incrusté de pièces de céramique dans les lignes de force et les interstices de l’architecture. Un projet immersif qui convoque les motifs qui appartiennent à son vocabulaire.
