L’EXPO Nathalie du Pasquier abolit le temps linéaire et choisit de présenter ses œuvres sans aucun critère chronologique ou thématique. Cette liberté narrative invite, depuis son atelier de Milan, différents formats et dessins réalisés à l’encre, au crayon, au pinceau, en noir ou en couleur. Ils sont scénographiés comme les acteurs d’une histoire qui se compose au fil d’un récit aléatoire où chaque chose pourrait indéfiniment se réinventer. Sur les murs de l’Hôtel des Arts, ses « Arrangements » rappellent qu’une page vierge a toujours le champ d’inventer son propre langage. Après les expositions de Pierre Charpin et Ronan Bouroullec, la poétique de Nathalie du Pasquier, affranchie des années design du groupe Memphis et de la figure tutélaire d’Ettore Sottsass, évolue dans une autre dimension.
