RÉSULTAT: UNE EXPOSITION HAUTE EN COULEURS QUI REND UN HOMMAGE FERVENT AUX AMBASSADRICES DU COSTUME PROVENÇAL.

L’EXPO À Sète, il n’est pas rare de croiser Gaël Serre assis sur un banc, croquant d’un trait alerte le retour des chaluts, les façades dansant sur l’eau ou l’élan d’une équipe de rameurs… Très tôt initié à la création, grâce à des grands- parents artistes, une mère tisserande et un père plasticien, Gaël Serre n’a pas souvenir de s’être un jour déplacé sans son carnet à dessin. Sensible au beau, il deviendra diffuseur de design scandinave, sans pour autant lâcher ses pinceaux. À bord de sa voiture transformée en atelier roulant, il sillonne inlassablement sa belle région occitane, s’arrêtant pour saisir sur le vif un envol de flamants ou un essaim d’écoliers… « Mes dessins sont des espèces de photos, des instantanés de vie », expliquet-il.
