CURIOSITÉ C’est la collaboration inédite de deux talents exceptionnels qui vient d’être scellée dans la campagne uruguayenne. L’histoire débute lorsque le chef argentin Francis Mallmann, mondialement connu pour la précision de ses cuissons au feu, décide d’ouvrir un hôtel-restaurant à Garzón, petit village de 200 habitants situé au milieu de nulle part. « En 2007, je reçois un appel de Francis Mallmann, se souvient Marie Ducaté. Il a entendu parler de moi et me demande si je veux venir en Uruguay créer des céramiques pour son hôtel Garzón. Sa voix et sa demande directe m’ont tout de suite enchantée. » Installée à Marseille, Marie juxtapose les techniques et les modes d’expression pour créer un univers exubérant, imprégné de l’innocence originelle.
