L’EXPO Après avoir obtenu un master en beaux-arts à la City & Guilds of London Art School, Adeline de Monseignat, suite à plusieurs allersretours entre Londres et le Mexique, s’est installée définitivement à Mexico City en 2020. Initialement venue pour une résidence de taille de pierre, elle a été fascinée par la diversité des matériaux disponibles dans ce pays, tels que le marbre, l’onyx, le travertin, le tezontle, une pierre volcanique rouge unique à la région. Cette richesse des ressources naturelles, combinée à l’histoire du pays, l’a complètement séduite. Bien qu’elle se définisse comme artiste-sculpteur, elle explore aussi l’idée de fonctionnalité, invitant le corps humain à interagir avec ses sculptures afin d’entrer en contact avec celles-ci.
