Now known for their embellishments like over-the-top bows, they’re looking back while looking forward: “We pull inspiration from interior design and historical time periods,” says Kasell. “Because of old class systems and lack of diversity and LGBTQ+ acceptance, most of the population never got to enjoy some of the details of the past.
