YOU’LL GO CRAZY FOR THE DRIZZLE OF DECADENT BLACKBERRY SYRUP ON THIS FLUFFY FRENCH TOAST

BLACKBERRY-PECAN FRENCH TOAST Makes 4 to 6 servings 3 large eggs1 cup whole milk¼ cup sugar1 teaspoon vanilla extract¼ teaspoon kosher salt3 cups finely chopped pecans1 tablespoon ground cinnamon10 (1-inch-thick) slices challah breadBlackberry Syrup (recipe follows)Sweetened whipped cream, to serve 1. Preheat oven to 200°. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt. In a shallow dish, stir together pecans and cinnamon. 3. Heat a cast-iron griddle over medium-low heat, and spray with cooking spray. 4. Working in batches, coat bread in egg mixture, letting excess drip off. Gently press into pecan mixture, shaking off excess.
