Making Summer Memories

IN THE SOUTH, THIS TIME OF YEAR is just as hot as can be, but boy is it fun. My grandbabies are out of school for the summer, and that means plenty of cookouts, family time, and Independence Day festivities. Summertime brings such sweet memories for me from my own childhood as well as from raising my boys, and I love getting to create special moments with my grandkids now, too. Something special I can’t wait to make for them are the fun and festive Miniature Rainbow Sprinkle Ice Cream Cakes on page 13. From the youngest to the oldest—and the adults, too—they’ll go crazy for these single-serve sweets.
