Vehicle-tax renewal scam In July, I got an email supposedly from the ‘Driver and Vehiclew Licensing Agency’ (DVLA) about the renewal of vehicle tax. It had the GOV.UK crown logo, but the sender address of army@indonek.com, the poor English (“this is a vehicle tax reminder letter(V11) who tell you to renew it”) and a sentence in French indicated a scam. The timing is also interesting as, a few days before, I submitted my driving-licence renewal form. I didn’t click the link (‘Check now your vehicle tax status’).
