Susan Olsen arrived in Switzerland jet-lagged from the long flight, so she dozed on the train to Lucerne in the central part of the country. “Every time I woke up, the view was like looking at another postcard. It was just unreal how beautiful it all was,” she tells Closer. Lucerne, a German-speaking city on the banks of Lake Lucerne, is famed for the well-preserved medieval architecture in its atmospheric “Altstadt,” or Old Town. From there, a stroll over the Chapel Bridge, built in 1333, takes visitors across the Reuss River. “I found the people to be really friendly, too,” says Susan. “I would love to go back.”…
