“I am excited for people to get to know Rex the way I do.”—Reba McEntire Reba McEntire is singing the praises of her actor boyfriend, Rex Linn! The couple first met in 1991, but their friendship turned romantic after Rex reached out following her late mother’s bladder cancer diagnosis. “So starting in March of 2020, we just kept talking and visiting and finally got together… and we’ve been pretty much inseparable ever since,” 66-year-old Reba explains. Their physical distance during the beginning of the pandemic — she was in Tennessee, he in California — helped them grow closer. “It allowed us to develop an emotional intimacy through those months and weeks,” Rex, 65, recalls, noting they especially enjoyed their daily ritual of three-hour-long phone calls.
