Clearly, I’ve been getting a bit carried away — Export 56’s Ben Pacey politely suggests it’s time I return to the pits. I don’t think it’s so much the outright pace, more my accumulation of laps. But c’mon, it’s not every day you get to punt a 993 Carrera RS around the hallowed asphalt of Goodwood Motor Circuit. Perhaps he’s right to suggest my time is up? I spend a further lap gently cruising and letting the brakes cool. Not that there’s much in the way of braking to be done, such is the fast and flowing nature of this old-school track. The thing is, this Rennsport feels as if it could lap and lap all day long. I’d wilt before it got tired. My excuse, if I need one,…
