Harleys please! To the people who don’t want to see Harley-Davidsons, I say this: CMM is not a sports bike publication and Harley-Davidsons are entitled to be featured. If the quality of Harley-Davidson bikes had remained at 1970s levels (woeful) I’d have no problem with them being ignored in CMM. But the quality has remained on par with Japanese bikes since the early 1990s. As a former motorcycle mechanic and workshop manager who has tested bikes from multiple manufacturers (including specialists like the 1970s MV Augusta products, Seeley, Harris [I helped build the first Harris Magnum 4 in 1991] and Dunstall Suzukis) and having owned three Harleys I’d say there is a lot to be said for a power unit that has a lot of torque, is reliable and needs…
