As members will be aware, there seems to be a power struggle ensuing at present within the Historic Commercial Vehicle Society. One group of members is calling for an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) and vote of no confidence in the current management, and a letter explaining all this and calling for a vote has been sent to all members. Clive Macdonald, who resigned as a trustee last year and stood unsuccessfully for election as chairman at this year’s AGM resigned as a trustee last year, has also told us that he has been expelled from the society after being a member for 40 years.
