HOW TO Whisk
Whisking means beating or stirring quickly with a whisk (or a fork if you don’t have a whisk) to combine ingredients. You can whisk together dry ingredients, like flour and salt, or wet ingredients, like eggs and milk. 1. Put the ingredients you want to whisk in a bowl. (Pick a bowl that’s large enough that the ingredients won’t splash out while you’re whisking.) 2. Hold the whisk so that the wire part is in the bowl, and use your wrist to move it quickly in a circular motion. 3. Stop whisking when the mixture looks blended. SAFETY TIP Get an adult’s permission and help with all sharp knives, appliances (blender and food processor), the stove or oven, and hot ingredients.…
