HOW TO Cook Pasta

1. Put a colander or strainer in the sink. 2. Half-fill a large pot with water. Put it on the stove, cover it, and turn the heat to high. 3. When the water is boiling (you’ll know it’s boiling when you see bubbles breaking all over the surface), carefully pour in the pasta. 4. Stir the pasta with a large spoon, and set a timer for the number of minutes recommended on the package. 5. When the pasta is cooked to your liking (use tongs or a slotted spoon to carefully fish out a piece, run it under cold water, and taste it), pour it into the colander or strainer in the sink.
