THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ Victoria is caught up in the spirit of the season, but Billy isn’t feeling so festive. In fact, he’s struggling quite a bit to keep his dark side from reemerging! Is 2020 already shaping up to be a difficult year for the couple — before it even begins?

The In Depth Story: Upon returning from their family vacation, Victoria immediately jumps back into her daily routine, making lists and checking off completed projects. While Billy finds himself chafing a bit at his wife’s focus on completing tasks, he manages to hide his lack of enthusiasm… until, that is, Victoria reminds him that they will be attending Abby’s New Year’s Eve bash. Instead of confessing to the dread that prospect evokes inside of him, Billy claims that he will have to work that night. Victoria understands business commitments, but she thinks it’s a bit much for the company he’s now consulting for to expect him to work on New Year’s Eve.
