Lisa de Cazotte passed away on December 7 at the age of 58 after a long illness. A supervising producer at THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS at the time of her death, the daytime vet began her soap career in 1990, as a ONE LIFE TO LIVE intern. After rising in the ranks there, de Cazotte worked on SANTA BARBARA, ALL MY CHILDREN and SUNSET BEACH before partnering with writer James E. Reilly in 1999 to launch and executive-produce PASSIONS. Y&R Sister, Sister As much as we’re digging all the drama surrounding THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ Amanda — and her familiar face — we have to admit to being baffled that not one person in Genoa City has brought up the possibility that the legal eagle might have been related to Hilary. It seems like an obvious thing to consider, given that the dearly-departed beauty whom she resembles had been estranged from her mom and didn’t know who her own father was. We also don’t get why a woman who appears to be dealing with a stalker wound up in a dive bar on the wrong side of town, but we’ll accept that since it put her and Billy on a collision course, and we’re intrigued by their developing…

… or was B&B’s Liam way too nonchalant when he heard Hope’s confession about keeping quiet after she thought she killed Thomas? He practically shrugged and said, “Oh well, no biggie,” as if she’d merely copped to getting a speeding ticket.
