Missing four-year-old found safe and unharmed

Athandile Siyo athandile.siyo@inl.co.za THE search for missing four-year-old Luphiwo Mbandazayo ended in joy after he was reunited with his family. Police spokesperson FC van Wyk yesterday said Luphiwo, who went missing on Monday in Lower Crossroads, was found in Delft unharmed. ’’He was safely returned to his parents by the Nyanga FCS (Family Violence Child Protection Sexual Offences Unit) detectives,’’ Van Wyk said. Ncumisa Manana, Luphiwo’s aunt, said the family was happy to have the child back. “We are grateful to everyone who assisted in the search. Not knowing where he was, was scary and we had all sorts of thoughts. We just thank the public and the Almighty for his safe return,” she said.
