Under Armour Eastside 10K

After a two-year hiatus, the race is back with its classic course that celebrates the east side of Vancouver

If you’re looking for a tune-up race before a fall marathon or a goal to keep you running all summer, the Under Armour Eastside 10K in Vancouver on Sept. 17 might just be the race for you. This race gives participants a different experience from the city’s typical oceanside events. “With a course that leads participants through the cobblestone streets of historic Gastown and into Strathcona—one of Vancouver’s oldest residential neighbourhoods—participants can look forward to a heritage tour with an industrial element as they run through sections of the city that are rarely closed to traffic,” says race director Ryan Chilibeck.
