SONY CONTINUES FE MOUNT LENS UPGRADES

WHAT'S NEW HAVING BUILT A system of over 70 FE mount lenses in under a decade, Sony is now busy upgrading many of its key models with recent updates including the FE 70-200mm f/4.0 Macro G OSS II and the FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM II which was announced along with the A7C II and A7CR camera bodies. The FE 70-200mm f/4.0 Macro G OSS II replaces one of the longest-serving models in Sony's full frame mirrorless lens system and is significantly different to its processor with both mechanical and optical revisions. Much has happened in lens design since the original f/4.0-speed 70-200mm and the new model incorporates many of these developments.
