BACKGROUND
Page Hotels is a lifestyle brand from Hong Kong-based Butterfly Hospitality group, with just two properties - Page 148 in Hong Kong's Tsim Sha Tsui district, and Page 8 in London, which opened in December 2019. Both hotels are named after their address (in this case, 8 St Martin's Place).

WHERE IS IT?
Centrally located, just steps from Trafalgar Square and opposite The National Gallery. It is within walking distance of Covent Garden, with Charing Cross and Piccadilly Circus tube stations a four-minute walk away.

There is a small reception desk where I had a wonderful check-in experience thanks to the reception staff, who took time to explain the hotel facilities and made me a takeaway hot chocolate to enjoy as I headed upstairs for the night.

ROOMS
The hotel's 138 rooms are located across four floors, with seven categories that range from a double room (17 sqm) to a junior suite (26 sqm). Quirky lion door knockers pay tribute to the statues at Trafalgar Square.
My entry-level double room featured a king size bed with built-in reading lights, an old-school rotary telephone, complimentary wifi, a 49-inch TV, air purifier, robe, slippers, hairdryer, safe, and large C.O.
Bigelow amenities. The bathroom also has toothbrushes, toothpaste and cotton pads, useful if you have forgotten any toiletries.
Notable highlights include a Marshall speaker with three curated Spotify playlists to suit your mood, and a complimentary minibar featuring a craft beer, soft drinks, water and milk. There are also coffee drip bags and teabags from Good and Proper Tea, along with a kettle and some lovely ceramic mugs.
The minimalist design features a royal blue colour palette, bronze accents, studded details and clean lines throughout, along wit...
