TRAVELLERS CAN CONTINUE their Scottish adventure when leaving Edinburgh thanks to a recent partnership between open-access rail operator Lumo and Holyrood Distillery. The two companies have teamed up to create a single malt scotch whisky (£5.50), offered onboard services from the Scottish capital to Newcastle or London King's Cross. Huw Wright, the distillery's managing director, said: “As the train follows the track from the city centre to East Lothian and beyond, visitors will be able to savour a dram in their comfortable seat and admire the stunning coastline and fertile fields which produce the some of the barley we use in our distilling process to create the whisky they can enjoy.” For further whisky adventures, see our feature on page 50.…
