OMAN AIR DITCHES FIRST CLASS IN FAVOUR OF BUSINESS STUDIOS

OMAN AIR HAS RETIRED its first class product, repositioning the existing suites as “Business Studios”, as a result of “shifting demand” and “global consumer trends”. The flag carrier previously had eight first class suites on its Boeing 787-9 aircraft which predominantly serve London and Bangkok. These are now available to book as Business Studios, adding a higher tier to Oman Air's existing business class offering on these aircraft. The current first class suite was introduced in 2018, and has a sliding door, and a seat with a 23-inch width and 82-inch pitch, which converts into a fully flat bed with a 30-inch width and 76-inch length.
