1 NATIONAL MUSEUM OF EGYPTIAN CIVILIZATION The most likely starting point for a trip to Egypt is its capital, Cairo. The city can easily take three to four days to explore, however, if you're on a busy schedule and only have an afternoon to spare, you can't miss the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC).
